Beyond the Dream began with a simple idea: stop waiting for someday.
She is being built by hand from an old pontoon boat into something completely our own—part shanty boat, part covered wagon, and part floating home. She carries our love of family, music, the water, and the belief that you're never too old to chase one more dream.
She's more than a boat. She's the dream we finally decided to live.

The Shanty Boat Chronicles is about more than building a boat. It’s about family, music, memories, and making the most of the time we’re given.
What began as one man's dream of building a homemade shanty boat has grown into something much bigger—a family adventure, a creative journey, and a collection of stories we hope will live long after the boat is finished.
Along the way there will be mistakes, laughter, music, projects that work, projects that don't, and plenty of life on the water.
This isn't just the story of where Beyond the Dream takes us. It's the story of the people who came aboard along the way.
